Commenting on a recent article in US News & World Report regarding the alleged inaccuracy of Fitbit devices, behavior change expert Louis Ryan of SelfHelpWorks says that corporate wellness programs have more than accuracy to be concerned with when implementing the use of fitness trackers. Ryan explained that fitness trackers do not offer the cognitive training that people struggling with deeply ingrained habits often need in order to create lasting behavioral change.
