NYS Athletic Trainers’ Association Congratulates Newest Safe Sports School Award Honorees in New York State
The National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) Safe Sports School Award for secondary schools outlines the specific actions that will lead an athletics program to the highest safety standards for its players. As part of its events for sports safety awareness from Athletic Training Recognition Week this past fall through National Athletic Training Month (NATM) this March, the New York State Athletic Trainers’ Association (NYSATA) announced a funding program for NYS secondary schools who are deserving of the Safe Sports School Award.
