Sierra College CACT Wins Placer County Economic Development Award
On March 31, Sierra College Center for Applied Competitive Technologies (CACT) won an Economic Development Award from Placer County for supporting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) education and businesses with employee training, introduction of new technology, professional development for K12 and college faculty, and bringing maker and startup resources to the area through the partnership with Hacker Lab.
