Housing Partnership Network and Project Destined Expand Partnership to Prime Next Generation of Diverse Talent in the Affordable Housing Sector
The Affordable Housing Bridge Program is an expanded strategic partnership with national intermediary Housing Partnership Network (HPN) and Project Destined to train underserved students and build a pipeline of future talent in the sector. Annually, sponsoring organizations aim to expose 500 students annually to the industry through 8-week intensives held three times per year. Students will also receive scholarships and have the opportunity to earn college credit. Sponsoring organizations will be able to market available positions and internships to 4500+ engaged and motivated Project Destined alumni from across the country. Almost 200 students, 40 percent with lived experience, applied for 30 spots in the pilot program alone.
