The BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA) awarded four scholarships last night during their annual Technology Impact Awards (TIAs). Three university students and one high-school student were presented with a combined $8,000 in scholarship grants. Over 400 public high schools and post‐secondary institutions across British Columbia were advised about the technology scholarship program, with all applicants showing impressive potential. The winners included Adam Gray of Victoria, Keith Martin and Irene Peng of Vancouver, and Tyler Poole of Quesnel. (PRWeb Jun 18, 2009)
