Slovakia to Punish Official Translators and Interpreters for ‘Professional Mistakes’

Slovakia’s parliament passed a law requiring authorised experts, translators and interpreters to be held accountable if they make mistakes or faults. The public authorities using them will be required to report such faults and the punishment meted out made public.
