Vermont Celebrates 35th Anniversary of Captive Insurance Legislation. State Grown to be the Industry ‘Gold Standard.’
Over the last 35 years, Vermont has grown to become known as the ‘Gold Standard’ of domiciles in the Captive Insurance industry and is held up as the model of sound regulation by other domiciles. This July marks the 35th anniversary of Vermont’s captive insurance legislation signed into law by the now late Governor Richard Snelling.
