Grand Opening of New University of Massachusetts Lowell State-of-the-art, Pilot-scale Lyophilization Facility
28 October 2019 - SP Scientific was delighted to support the ribbon-cutting event officially launching the new UMass Lowell state-of-the-art, pilot-scale lyophilization facility. As the newest member of UMass Lowell’s Core Research Facilities, this non-GMP Lyophilization Lab (LyoBay) provides an R&D test bed for process development, scale-up and the development and application of new process analytical technologies. It will also serve as a user facility for pre-clinical process development and training to support the local and national biotechnology industry.
