Motorola Mobilizes 11,000 Employees to Volunteer in Their Communities on Global Day of Service
More than 11,000 Motorola, Inc. employees in 47 countries joined forces on 10 October 2007 to improve their local communities on the company's second annual Global Day of Service. In one of the largest one-day corporate social responsibility events of its kind, Motorola employees took a half day off work to volunteer at more than 300 projects that address a variety of community concerns, including education, environmental sustainability and social services.
