Bing Translate vs. Google Translate: How Do They Compare?

For most business use cases, Google Translate is the stronger default: it supports over 130 languages to Bing Translator's more limited roster, leads on document and image translation features, and integrates more broadly across platforms and devices. Bing holds its own for Microsoft-ecosystem users and formal or technical content. On accuracy, a UCLA Medical Center evaluation of Google Translate found it correctly conveyed meaning 82.5% of the time across languages with results ranging from 94% for Spanish to 55% for Armenian, a variance that applies to both tools. Neither is sufficient alone for professional-grade localization at scale.
